The history of Photography in Pictures

In Intro to Digital Design and Photography we watched a documentary on the history of photography.  Below, is a picture taken by Edward Curtis, one of the photographers mentioned in the documentary.  Edward Curtis took pictures of Native Americans in natural settings.  This picture is an example of this.  I like this picture because of the reflection of the Native American in the water, as well as the peaceful background.

The next photo is also by Edward Curtis.  I like this picture because of the emotion it captures.  The two boy's happy faces lend the picture a happy tone.
